JACKALOPE Montreal 2026 takes over the Old Port this weekend for three days dedicated to action sports and urban culture.
From September 11 to 13, 2026, Jacques-Cartier Pier will welcome international athletes for vert skateboarding competitions, BMX and Moto X demonstrations, mini ramp sessions, calisthenics and much more in the heart of Montreal.

World-class vert skateboarding in Montreal
Vert skateboarding is once again at the centre of JACKALOPE Montreal.
The massive vert ramp will host several competitions throughout the weekend, ranging from young Grom athletes to the men’s and women’s Open divisions.
Qualifiers, semifinals, finals and Best Trick contests will give spectators plenty of opportunities to see some of the world’s best transition skaters in action.
Bob Burnquist among the invited athletes
One of the biggest names announced for Montreal is Bob Burnquist, one of the most influential vert skateboarders in the history of the sport.
The invited athlete list also includes JD Sanchez, Bryce Wettstein, Collin Graham, Shuka Kawai, Mizuho Hasegawa, Hudson Walker, Summer Rackley and several other international skaters.
The international field should make the vert competitions one of the biggest attractions of the weekend.
BMX and Moto X demonstrations
JACKALOPE isn’t just about skateboarding.
Krusher BMX demonstrations are scheduled throughout the weekend, while the Rockbottom FMX Team will bring Moto X demonstrations to the Old Port.
Expect big tricks, jumps and plenty of action throughout all three days.
Mini ramp sessions open to the public
The mini ramp is another major part of the JACKALOPE experience, with several Open Jam sessions scheduled throughout the weekend.
Visitors are allowed to bring their own skateboards. However, access to certain facilities and sessions may require registration, a signed waiver or a Shredder Pass.
Calisthenics at JACKALOPE
Calisthenics also has a major presence at the 2026 festival.
The weekend includes public sessions, meet-ups, demonstrations, freestyle exhibitions and challenges.
What to see Friday, September 11
JACKALOPE gets underway this afternoon with several activities:
- 5 p.m.: sessions begin and Grom U15 practice
- 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Mini Ramp Open Jam
- 6 p.m.: BMX demonstration by Krusher
- 6:30 p.m.: Moto X demonstration by Rockbottom FMX Team
- 7 p.m.: Women’s Best Trick
- 8:30 p.m.: Men’s Best Trick
- 9 p.m.: Meet & Greet
- 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Shredder’s Session
Saturday: competitions and demonstrations all day
On Saturday, September 12, the action resumes in the early afternoon with vert skateboarding competitions, BMX and Moto X demonstrations, mini ramp sessions and several calisthenics activities.
The Open competitions also intensify Saturday evening as athletes compete for a place in Sunday’s finals.
Sunday: the JACKALOPE finals
Sunday, September 13 will feature some of the weekend’s biggest competitions.
The Women’s Vert Open Final is scheduled from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., followed by men’s practice and the Men’s Vert Open Final from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m..
The podium ceremonies are scheduled for 7 p.m..

There’s more to JACKALOPE than the competitions.
The festival experience also includes a vendor village, food trucks, DJs and various activations throughout the site. After-parties are also part of the weekend experience.
How to get to JACKALOPE Montreal
JACKALOPE takes place at Jacques-Cartier Pier in Montreal’s Old Port.
Organizers recommend using public transportation because parking in the area is limited.
Champ-de-Mars and Square-Victoria–OACI metro stations provide convenient access to the Old Port.
Bus routes 75, 55 and 715 also serve the area, while BIXI is another option for reaching the festival.
Can I bring my skateboard?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to bring their skateboards.
However, make sure to check the requirements before using festival facilities, as some sessions require registration or a Shredder Pass.
Are dogs allowed at JACKALOPE?
